Saskia Deans started her career in intelligence in ISS seven years ago. She works in the Commonwealth capital supporting Division E. Recently diagnosed with a rare form of alternate personality disorder, she believes herself to be 'Anna Deans' from a fictional country called the 'United Kingdom' based an alternate universe.
Edward Finley

Up until joining the team, Edward Finley was a Lieutenant within the United Commonwealth Marine Corps. SIS rescued him from dubious court martial charges by offering him a role within SIS. Coming from humble origins in the suburbs of Alexandria, Virginia, he put himself through university and Cadet School. He is loyal and determined to a fault.
Hamish Reid

Hamish Reid grew up in Yorkeshire, England. He left school early and took on mostly blue collar jobs before getting into trouble with the law by assaulting a policeman. A judge offered him the chance to avoid jail and so he joined the army until his move to 75 SAS. Hamish has seen five tours in two wars. After retiring from the SAS he joined SIS. He is not considered fit for cover exposure.
Angela Burns

Angela Burns is high ranking Director within SIS. She is a former spy who served as director of three foreign intelligence branches. It is rumoured that she was a field agent of some notoriety in FIS before reaching Director level. Experienced, efficient, loyal and a consummate leader, she moved to work in Division E of SIS once FIS and ISS were merged.
Tui Tahera

Tui Tahera was born to Maori parents in Tamaki, North Island. In order to advance through university Tui joined the Republics Air Force as a reserve, She later received a full commission becoming a rising star fighter pilot until a freak ejector seat malfunction left her with permanent eye damage, disqualifying her from further flying. She recently joined Section 8.
Rebecca Roberts
Operations Assistant

Republic: South Africa
Rebecca is an Ops Assistant working for Saskia Deans. Born and raised in South Africa, she left to join ISS in London before its merger into SIS. Her primary function is information collation and management, Her brash personality and irreverence is tolerated only as a result of her otherwise excellence in carrying out her duties. She is not considered fit for cover operations.
Christine Bissette

Christine is a native French speaker from the Commonwealth Republic of Quebec. She makes great pains to hide her rural origins. She was most recently contracted to SIS New Yorke before being offered a formal role within Section 8 in the capital. She will continue the same hotwork function for which she was utilized as a contractor.
Carlos Cortese

Carlos was born in Gibraltar to Italian and Scottish parents. A successful con-artist, thief and hotworker of both men and women, for the past three years he has been contracted to SIS. On account of his father once being a former member of FIS and despite his brother serving time in prison, Carlos has been offered a formal role within the new Section 8.
St John Francis Franks

Franks is a former handler and now a career administrator, having worked the majority of his adult life in the Commonwealth capital, London. A loyal citizen of the Commonwealth, he is responsible for SIS-E Division 3 with counter-intelligence jurisdiction over most of London. Begrudgingly, he has been assigned the Section 8 project into his portfolio.
Kingsley McAuliffe

Republic: New Wales, Federal Australia
Kingsley was born to Irish parents in Ridley, New Wales, Federal Australia. Trained as a criminal psychologist and hostage negotiator, he was headhunted to join SIS in Ridley before requesting a transfer to the commonwealth capital. He is jovial and outgoing but seeks adventure beyond his native land. All the more so after the recent death of his parents.
John Sands

The identity of John Sands is currently compartmentalized. As a result of autobiographical amnesia resulting from serious head trauma endured while on a currently active operation, this agent's identity has been withheld from his own team and himself. This highly skilled agent has been transferred to the new Section 8 to work as Senior Field Officer until his memory returns.
Tarick Lal

Tarick Lal is a sixth generation army officer with the rank of captain upon joining SIS. His service record is impeccable. A highly respected officer who served three tours in the Afghan War. Prior to leaving the Great Commonwealth Army he was considered "destined to wear stars". Agent Lal will serve as a Field Officer within Section 8.
Alicia Tze Man Wong

Republic: Hong Kong
Alicia Wong was a Detective Inspector in the HK Police before moving to SIS. Raised in Hong Kong to Cantonese parents. An exemplary career record, only stained by her natural distrust of authority figures. She had the highest arrest rate in Kowloon province, such that unbeknownst to her, SIS accelerated her induction into the service for fear or her being murdered by the local mafia.
Darius Devlin

Republic: England (naturalized)
Devlin an Assistant Director and now executive officer of Section 8. He is responsible for training the new team. Devlin followed Director Burns all the way from her time in FIS-RR to the present. A former spy, details of his prior operations are as highly classified as those of Director Burns. Little is known of his origins outside of the Commonwealth.

Alpha is the primary enemy of Section 8 during the events in the Grid. The origin of himself and his team are unknown.
